Welcome to hooeymoon! 

He survived the 1960’s and she escaped a 1980’s cult … together they are hooeymoon.
 
With a great love of many different genres of music that span two lifetimes, hooeymoon has creatively mixed their own sounds and influences into contemporary music. They draw from the best of what the 60’s had to offer, up into modern day artists and most of what happened in between. In the band’s DNA of influences: melody, lyric and guitar work are essential to their music. They kind of like harmony too.  Their genre is mixed, but falls into Alternative, Indie, Folk, Singer/Songwriter, and Rock/Contemporary.

In their studio, hooeymoon has a sign that leads them in the day-to-day work, it simply states, “there are no rules”.

After taking a bit of a break, the band is working on CD number 3 and doing some live performances which has been so much fun!  Seeing people enjoy their hard work has been so fulfilling and enjoyable - thanks to all those who have come out and all the positive feedback!
